We are delighted to invite you to our new 2-day course on Financing and Selling Your Business Ideas, which is going to take place on 22nd and 23rd March 2010, at the Queen Mary Campus, Centre for Commercial Law Studies, 67-69 Lincoln's Inn Fields, London WC2A 3JB
The course is designed for anyone with a business idea but unsure how to get it presented, funded and turned into a real-life business venture. Participants will learn how to prepare and present business pitches in order to raise finance for their ideas in any sector at any stage. The course will allow participants to develop and practice communication, fundraising and networking skills and will look at the best financing options for their business; and different options' advantages and disadvantages.
Participants will be able to test their newly learned skills and knowledge in a mock pitch to a business panel of professional experts with the winner of the best pitch receiving an exciting prize – a one-to-one consultation with a business professional, that will allow him/her to further develop their business idea. The course is highly interactive and strongly based on an experimental learning model. The mock pitches will be critically evaluated by the panel and video recorded. All participants will receive a DVD of their pitches at the end of the course.
In order to deliver this bespoke course we have teamed up with Enter-rise, a leading consultancy specialised in the development and delivery of entrepreneurship education and training programmes.
